a. User Authentication:
Users do not create accounts on their own. Authentication credentials (usernames and passwords) are issued and managed by the school administration.

b. Location and Camera Access:
The App may request access to your device’s location and camera solely for scanning QR codes to record attendance. Location data is collected only at the time of scanning to confirm whether the scan occurs within or near the school premises or at a designated pickup/drop location.
The App does not collect or track location in the background when it is closed or inactive.

c. Device Information:
Basic device identifiers (such as device ID and model) may be collected to validate attendance scans and prevent misuse.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To record accurate attendance for students and employees.
• To verify that attendance scans occur in the correct location (e.g., school campus, bus stop).
• To enhance security and prevent fraudulent check-ins.

All collected data is used exclusively for authorized school purposes and managed under the institution’s administrative control.

3. Third-Party Access

We do not share personal information with third parties except when:

• Required by law or court order.
• Necessary to comply with school administration or legal authorities.

4. Access Limitation

Only users with valid login credentials provided by the school administration can access and use the App.

5. Use of Location

• NLSmartTrack does not continuously monitor or store your location.
• Location is accessed only in the foreground, during attendance scans.
• The App remains fully functional without background location access.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The updated version will be posted within the App or on our website, and the new effective date will be indicated above.
